Narang Mandi History
Historically Narang Mandi has been on the cross roads of ancient trade routes in Punjab leading to Delhi and other parts of Northern India. Before partition Narang Mondi was called Narang. The word Mondi was added after indipendence due to the establishment of a big Market (Mandi) of Rice and Rice Processesing. After the creation of Pakistan in 1947, because of the cross border tension this trade stature was very much lost.
